Distancing of a Natural Act (1991)

Bird-watch: birdseed/shelf 4” x 4”; grass mound: 25”; wooden binoculars made from a branch of a maple tree w with stand 5’4” x 8”; (30) plaster pigeons. 5” x 3” x 1.5” ea. 

Each plaster piegon was attached to a bulls-eye spring stand. Wind from two electric fans mounted on the floor on each side of the room (not visible in slide) rocked the pigeons slowly rocked back and forth. There were no lenses in the carved wood binoculars.
